Lord God, you created life that it may please you. Help us to please you in everything that we do.
And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

Evolutionists refer to the fact that life evolved in water, starting with microscopic organisms. The bible also mentions the first animals are in the sea, yet the only creature which gets a mention are the whales.
Thinking about it, I don't ever remember any evolutionist mentioning how plants started. Aquatic plants have very different adaptations to terrestrial plants to the point that what an aquatic plant needs to grow is detrimental to a terrestrial plant.
When I was at college I was given a book debating evolution. It was a collection of papers presented by pro- and anti-evolutionists. What really let the book down was the conclusion, which went something along the lines of "The whole theory of evolution is terribly flawed, but as I don't believe in God, I can't see any alternative". What a sad person. The author didn't have any faith in evolution, but didn't have any faith in God either. A pointless existence.
Why God created 'fowls' next I don't know. Any ideas?
Yet these were the first animals on earth. They demonstrated God's power and his love. He created them and he cared for them. He put them in a perfect world and set them free.
They might need water to survive, but what they needed was God, to live.
The same applies to us. Life-giving water and the water of life features quite often in the Bible. Can you find any references?
